The Surakhan Story
Korean food is very healthy, and unique from other oriental foods. However, unlike other oriental foods such as Japanese or Chinese food, only a very small percentage of people have tried Korean food before. This was one of the reasons that I decided to open a Korean restaurant.
I had been a housewife for 18 years since I married in December 1992. I had a 6 year preparation period before I opened Surakhan restaurant. During those 6 years I developed unique Surakhan sauces which are authentic Korean sauces as well as, I believe, the sauces that other nationals would love.
41 visits to Korea and travels throughout Korea during those 6 years are the ingredients of Surakhan sauces, together with my passion for developing unique sauces.
Customers like Surakhan meals, Chicken wing and Bulgogi are especially popular.
Takeaway is the next step of my business plan selling Chicken wing, Bulgogi and Bibimbap.
I pray every day for my family, my staff and my customers. I pray for their health, peace and safety.
